ABOUT DEMI
Demi is a service tailored to clients who prefer to prioritize our designs and product over project management, and typically have smaller scopes of work and minimal construction. Unlike Full Service, clients are responsible for overseeing work by secondary vendors (contractors, electricians, window treatment installers, etc). We provide you with resources to oversee these vendors and will touch base with them if needed.
Like Full Service, we still create budgets and finish schedules, procure all furnishings, and coordinate a final install. Most meetings are held virtually, while local clients are offered in-person checkpoints. Note: We design full rooms only.

Demi is Zoë Feldman Design’s remote, decorating-focused service. We design, source, and coordinate your home’s furnishings and finishes virtually—so you get the ZFD look without full-scale construction management.

Demi is perfect for smaller projects, usually one to five rooms, where the goal is to elevate the space through layered decorating updates like furniture, paint, lighting, drapes, and finishing touches, rather than major renovation work.

I have art and furniture pieces I love and want to keep. Can you use them in my project?
Yes! We are happy to incorporate your existing pieces into our designs. However, we do not style or put finishing touches on rooms that are already largely furnished.

You’ll review designs, approve selections, and coordinate any light local work (like paint or electrical). This may also include overseeing some pre-furniture installations such as window treatments + carpeting. Otherwise, our team takes care of the details.

You’ll have a dedicated Lead Designer supported by our Procurement Manager and Creative Director. Though you won't be meeting with Zoë directly, every design is reviewed and approved by Zoë.

Each project receives a custom estimate including design fees, product costs, and delivery. Trade labor for light updates is billed separately by your local contractors.

With the exception of installation—which may be handled in person by our team to oversee final delivery and furniture placement—Demi is a fully remote service. All meetings take place via video call, with communication handled through email. Each project begins with a 3D scan of the property, allowing us to virtually access and reference the space throughout the design process.

Demi focuses on decorating and furnishing through a virtual process; Full Service includes renovation and on-site management and is best suited for full home projects. Both deliver the same thoughtful, elevated ZFD aesthetic. The difference is in scope, not standards.
