Historic Georgetown Townhome
In this landmark 1810s Georgetown row house, we partnered with our clients to transform centuries-old grace into a modern, family-friendly haven. Rather than stripping away its soul, we opted for thoughtful edits: a powder-blue kitchen refresh (with a newly added island), a woodland mural turning the former formal dining room into a joyful play zone, and a garden-room inspired sitting area cloaked in floral wallpaper and leafy palettes. At every turn, the strategy was clear: preserve architectural character, respond to daily rhythms, and let style emerge from function. The result is a beautifully understated home that balances elegance with ease, perfect for both grown-ups and kids. Read more about the project with Elle Decor.

"The mantra throughout the process was that form would follow function, a concept born at the very start of the collaboration when [the client] explained that she wanted the five-story residence to be livable and unfussy—a true family home." - Geoffrey Montes, Elle Decor (2025)

"In addition to sourcing choice furnishings...Feldman prodded the couple to expand their art collection. Among the blue-chip works she acquired for the home is a colorful abstract canvas in the living room by painter Sam Gilliam, as well as an ethereal piece by Kiki Smith featuring an owl against a starry night sky in the primary bedroom." - Geoffrey Montes, Elle Decor (2025)
