We partnered with Susan Tynan, CEO of Framebridge, to transform her Maryland home into a colorful, art-filled, and family-friendly retreat. We embraced bold gestures like a peach-painted entry gallery wall and a Brooklyn brownstone mantel paired with custom blue built-ins, while weaving in personal artwork from both renowned artists and Susan’s children. We kept the family room textural and calming to balance the home’s more energetic moments, and the design process—carried out during the pandemic—evolved organically as the family lived in the space. The result is a vibrant yet grounded home that celebrates individuality, comfort, and character.

“Not every frame has to match—you don’t have to overthink the art. You can just frame the things you love and think about scale and proportion, but not get hung up on micro details.” - Susan Tynan to House Beautiful (2021)
